Evidence-based Medicine
By utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic criteria backed by evidence-based medicine, PLA’s pathologists continue to stay at the forefront of medicine. Evidence-based medicine is a technique that uses the critical appraisal of the most relevant and credible research combined with the pathologist's medical expertise, & consideration of patient preferences to provide a proper medical assessment.
Twice the Review Power
In addition to PLA pathologists using evidence based medicine, all specimens are reviewed by a minimum of two pathologists prior to results being delivered back to the referring physician, surgeon, or specialist. This allows a thorough review and consideration of each specimen with the intent to provide the most definitive patient results.
